Data Analyst - Big Data/Reg Reporting - sought by leading investment bank based in London - Contract - Hybrid β€’ inside IR35 - umbrella β€’ Key Responsibilities β€’ Deliver in-depth analysis to define problems, develop solutions, and influence strategic decisions. β€’ Establish and maintain data analytics standards and best practices. β€’ Identify patterns and trends to enhance business decision-making and process improvement. β€’ Manage multiple projects across geographies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. β€’ Apply predictive analytics to recommend process and risk redesign. β€’ Continuously explore new data sources, tools, and capabilities to improve strategies. Experience Required β€’ 6-10 years' experience in data analysis, ideally within regulatory reporting or financial services. β€’ Strong expertise in statistical modelling and handling large datasets (Python/SQL/Hadoop/Hive/Impala). β€’ Proven ability to manage complex issues and deliver innovative solutions. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. β€’ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio); advanced Excel skills essential. β€’ Experience in segmentation, modelling, and optimization techniques.
