Data Analyst - Business Transformation

This international industry leader has an immediate long-term contract opportunity in Spring, TX for a Data Analyst - Business Transformation. This position requires working onsite Monday-Friday. Contract Duration: 12+ months We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Business Transformation Analyst to support cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other business units. This role will focus on integrating diverse data sources—including Smartsheet, ERP systems, and operational databases—into Power BI to deliver actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making. Data Integration & Modelling: 1. Connect and consolidate data from multiple platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel, SQL databases, ERP systems) into Power BI 1. Design and maintain robust data models that support dynamic reporting and analytics Dashboard Development: 1. Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards tailored to business transformation projects 1. Ensure visualizations are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with stakeholder needs 1. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 1. Partner with teams in Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, etc to understand data requirements and business processes 1. Translate business needs into technical solutions and reporting frameworks 1. Process Improvement & Automation: 1. Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and automate reporting processes 1. Support change management initiatives by providing data-driven insights 1. Governance & Quality Assurance: 1. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all reporting platforms 1. Document data sources, transformation logic, and dashboard usage guidelines Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field 1. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role 1. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling 1. Experience integrating Smartsheet and other cloud-based tools into BI platforms 1. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Top 3 skill sets/technologies required for qualification: 1. PowerBI 1. Smartsheet 1.
