DataStaff, Inc is seeking a Data Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Richmond, VA.

Job Description:
The Data Analyst II with the Professional Services Procurement Office will be an important member of the negotiations team to analyze data and provide consulting services and customer service for rate negotiations with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
β’ Assesses complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests.
β’ Creates programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.
β’ Examines data quality, applications, and functions.
β’ Produces output and sustains operation.
β’ Researches new data sources and analytical tools.
β’ Contributes to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
β’ Develops awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organization, department, and/or customer.
β’ Uses and supports database applications and analytical tools.
β’ Uses timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systems.
Required Skills:
β’ 5 Years - Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audiences, varying levels of management.
β’ 5 Years - Ability to build constructive, effective relationships inside and outside of the organization.
β’ 5 Years - Ability to follow written and oral instructions
β’ 5 Years - Imperative to be detail oriented, organized and self-starter.
β’ 5 Years - Ability to plan and facilitate / conduct training among peers, presentations, and meetings.
