Role description
Join a Utility Company with a remote work opportunity as a Data Analyst leveraging your skillset in data management systems and for validation. Weβre looking for someone who has a strong technical background with Python Power BI, and data analysis and validation.
Job Responsibilities -
β’ In this position, the support will include identifying and resolving errors through the inspection process.
β’ Perform recurring validation checks to verify program operational success.
β’ Coordinate with Asset Strategy on scope updates.
β’ Effectively collaborate with program management and IT teams on joint internal projects or any issues with troubleshooting.
β’ Assist with Development and Maintaining Data Management Systems.
β’ Actively work on requested analysis to ensure compliance, viability, and successful dashboards, programs, etc.
β’ Actively work on PowerBI Dashboard and its development.
β’ Assist with Data Management for Inspection Programs.
β’ You will utilize your technical skillset, including Python for data handling and validation.
β’ Collaborate in a cross-functional environment, meeting and outlining progress and results to senior management and executive leadership when requested.
Required Skillset -
β’ 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
β’ Strong reporting skills - You will be working in multiple systems.
β’ Strong Microsoft 365 Suite skillset - This will be utilized day-to-day.
β’ Previous data validation experience.
β’ Previous experience in data analysis.
β’ Strong technical background and experience in Python.
β’ Strong Power BI experience.
β’ Previous utility experience is required.
β’ Experience of Domain knowledge of electric utilities is required.
β’ Strong communication skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
β’ Previous program management experience is highly preferred.
β’ Previous experience in utility companies out of California is highly preferred
Location: Work from home in the U.S.
Duration: Project duration is 12 months to start.
Compensation: Regular and overtime pay, health benefits (Medical/Vision/Dental options) and PTO
