Data Analyst (contract)

Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive data collection, analysis, validation, cleansing, and reporting activities • Design, code, test, debug, and document ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures • Extract and analyze data from multiple sources including relational databases, manual files, and external websites • Respond promptly and accurately to data inquiries from various departments and teams • Create and publish both regularly scheduled reports and ad hoc analytical deliverables • Document reporting requirements, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer • Validate data components to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability • Maintain and optimize existing data workflows and reporting systems Skills • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Advanced knowledge of SQL and database querying techniques • Experience with ETL process design and implementation • Proficiency with query tools and statistical software packages • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Qualifications • Demonstrated experience working with relational database systems • Proven track record in data analysis and reporting roles This is an exceptional opportunity for a data professional who thrives in a dynamic environment where analytical insights directly influence business outcomes.
