Data Analyst (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting supply chain operations by building data tracking and reporting dashboards that provide operational insights. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement best practices for data manipulation and analysis. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape foundational analytics processes within a newly formed organization, directly impacting operational efficiency and visibility.
Job Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to determine data requirements and implementation approaches.
β’ Write and code logical and physical database descriptions while specifying identifiers for the database management system.
β’ Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.
β’ Modify existing databases and database management systems, directing programmers and analysts as needed.
β’ Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
β’ 5-7 years of applicable experience in data analysis and supply chain operations is required.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
β’ Proficient in database technologies with a strong understanding of the ETL process.
β’ Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
β’ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
β’ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Proven track record of success in previous roles.
β’ Passion for working with data to help businesses make informed decisions.
