Job Description
About the Position:
Reporting to the Manager, Finance Technology Enablement, Business Operations Systems Support User Access & Controls, this position is responsible for creating and maintaining valued partnerships with the business by supporting the business User Access & Controls needs and processes. This role will coordinate day to day business user support for GRC access request processing and SOX audit responsibilities. This position will also coordinate the day-to-day interface with key business users in the provisions of services; analyze data and activities to provide relevant and up-to-date information to support decision-making and the effective working of Client.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
β’ Execute SOx IT General Controls in support of Access Management
β’ Ensure continuous maintenance of data within the GRC application as well as the other supporting applications within the SAP framework.
β’ Coordinate with other team members on the effective execution of IT General Controls related to SAP and PowerPlant applications, including user access, segregation of duties (SoD), critical access (CA), and elevated access across all SAP modules.
β’ Develop relationships with the business and IT communities to drive a better understanding of the controls operated to support accurate review controls.
β’ Develop an extensive understanding of end-to-end processes, User Access risk & controls frameworks relative to control operation.
β’ Identify and resolve potential access issues for Client users.
β’ Develop relationships with other Client assurance partners: Risk, Compliance and Controls Team, Digital Risk & Security, external auditors to facilitate collaboration across functional areas.
β’ Support a collaborative team working environment and focus on the design of new and improved processes to achieve business objectives and continuous improvement and performance within the team.
β’ Travel to multiple NG locations may be required.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
β’ Bachelorβs degree required in Business, Finance, or Accounting
β’ Proven experience as an Excel Specialist or in a similar data analysis role
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets
β’ Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
β’ Minimum of 3 + years Sarbanes Oxley controls (SOx) experience
β’ Strong leadership, excellent verbal and written skills and excellent interpersonal skills
β’ Good working knowledge of end user needs and demonstrated ability to adapt an end user mindset when problem solving.
β’ Ability to facilitate the analysis of business processes, and articulate potential changes in a convincing manner.
β’ Ability to work as part of a team collaborating with other IT and/or business team members
β’ Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
β’ Controls results driven; action and solution oriented
β’ Experience with Ariba, identity access management, SAP security and SAP GRC 10.1 is a plus.
β’ Data analysis in Excel including using formulas including Vlookups, COUNTIF and SUM; pivot tables, filters and sorting, consolidating and manipulating large data sets from multiple file formats, locating anomalies and duplicates, ensuring completeness and clear documentation for internal and external auditor use.
β’ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
