Role description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills to support our P&C Insurance operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, generating insights, and supporting business decision-making. Prior exposure to Duck Creek (Policy, Billing, or Claims) is a strong plus but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured insurance data.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business and IT teams.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for reporting and analytics.
• Support migration, integration, and data transformation projects related to Duck Creek and other platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis on data inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Contribute to data governance, quality management, and documentation efforts.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst in insurance, financial services, or related industries.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data extraction.
• Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Experience with Excel (advanced), data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Duck Creek Insurance Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims) data models.
• Familiarity with P&C Insurance domain concepts.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data pipelines.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
