Role description
The Change Partners are working with a Tier-1 Consumer Electronics brand, which is looking to hire a Data Analyst.
You’ll play a critical role in supporting the business by running, extending, and enhancing data analytics in collaboration with the Data Analyst team. This means meticulously managing data from multiple internal systems to ensure accuracy and providing high-level insights to senior management through digitalised documents.
Key Responsibilities:
• System Maintenance & Analysis: Use SQL to query and join datasets across multiple structured and semi-structured internal sources.
• Data Management: Gather requirements to design and implement robust data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain clear, user-friendly dashboards in Excel, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or other tools to support commercial and operational teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the SEC European Headquarters Marketing team and circa 20 communication partners to share findings and findings.
• Process Optimisation: Automate and scale reporting processes while supporting ad-hoc deep-dives and exploratory analysis.
• Project Support: Hit the ground running to pick up in-flight workstreams and support teams in achieving key targets.
• Insight Delivery: Transform raw data into structured formats to provide correct information and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or equivalent role, ideally within a DTC, retail, or eCommerce business.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with Excel and SQL, along with proficiency in at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Education: Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a strong academic background in numerical fields such as maths or statistics.
• Detail-Oriented: Structured and methodical working practices with the ability to pull out insights from diverse datasets.
• Communication Skills: Able to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, adapting to stakeholder needs.
• Adaptability: Analytical thinking with the ability to pick up new ideas and subject matter quickly in a fast-moving environment.
Please note this role doesn't offer sponsorship. The day rate is up £220 a day inside IR35, with the initial contract length for at least six months, with possible extension
