Our major Oil & Gas (O&G) client is seeking a Data Analyst III to join their team in Spring, TX for a 1-year assignment. Main Functions: • Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data to derive insights and support decision-making. • May consolidate and present data in charts, graphs, or tables for reporting purposes. • Focused on improving data quality and ensuring consistency across various sources. • Minimal work direction needed—must be a highly skilled, independent professional. • Recognized expert in the field, possibly holding professional certifications. Skills and Qualifications: • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Report generation & data analysis experience. • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation. • Python (Pandas) for data cleaning, automation, and analysis. • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). • API-driven solutions experience, working with multiple data sources. • Experience handling large-scale data (millions of rows in a table). • ETL & Data Integration experience with a preference for backend data processing
