Data Analyst

Data Analyst Location: London, City, EC1A2 | Type: Remote, UK | Salary: Competitive salary A leading professional services organisation in the technology and talent sector is looking for a Data Analyst. This role focuses on understanding and documenting existing systems to support decommissioning activities across a large-scale programme. You will analyse current solutions built with Java, Node JS, and React to develop a clear end-to-end picture of data flows and system dependencies. What you'll be doing • Documenting data flows, system dependencies, and underlying data models • Investigating daily system usage to clarify ownership and integration points • Analysing data pipelines using Python and PySpark to confirm data transformations • Managing data quality and testing to ensure documented models are accurate • Capturing technical information to support risk assessments and decommissioning decisions What we're looking for • Strong background in Java, Node JS, React, and JSON • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and data modelling • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS (Glue, RDS) or Azure • Knowledge of testing frameworks like PyTest and data quality tools like Great Expectations • Must have the right to work in the UK and hold active security clearance What's on offer • Remote working arrangement • Opportunity to work on a high-impact decommissioning programme • Competitive daily rate within IR35 regulations Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
