REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE • Create and maintain rich, interactive visualisations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers • Proactively analyse data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, aligned to the overall goals of the OCC, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement • Deliver daily, weekly, monthly reporting and ad-hoc insights ensuring timeliness and accuracy • Create, refine and maintain tracking models and impact forecasts • Contribute to and participate in key business engagement activities required to support tracking of operational status and support decision-making and governance • Support collaboration with business and MHHS Programme stakeholders including organising meetings and workshops, risk and issue management, status reporting and planning. • Identify, manage and maintain OCC risks and issues including where they may have impacts wider than on the project and accurately report the status of activities to the OCC Lead Required • Three or more years of experience as a data analyst • Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualisation • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Able to create visually appealing, insightful reports and presentations • Strong Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools Desirable but not essential • Good knowledge and experience of working within the energy sector • Power BI experience • Experience of working with ServiceNow data and reporting
