DATA ANALYST (PART TIME)
£200 - £300 PER DAY
2-3 DAYS IN THE OFFICE (LEICESTER)
3 MONTH CONTRACT
THE COMPANY:
Join a well-established company as a Data Analyst, supporting key reporting and data-driven decision-making.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Analyst, you will focus on analysing factory and operational data to identify issues, assess financial impact, and ensure compliance across multiple territories. You'll also be responsible for simplifying complex datasets into clear, actionable reports for stakeholders, supporting both regular and ad hoc business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Analysing data from factory reports to evaluate the severity of issues, financial impact, and root causes, ensuring standards are consistently met across multiple territories.
• Supporting reporting across areas such as sustainability, waste, and compliance
• Transforming large, complex datasets (primarily in Excel and Google Sheets) into clear, concise reports for different stakeholder groups
• Responding to ad hoc and recurring data requests from management and senior leadership
• Working with data captured from tools (e.g. SafetyCulture) to support ongoing monitoring and reporting
• Communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable way
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Strong experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within retail or supply chain environments
• Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables) and experience with Google Sheets
• Proven ability to simplify complex datasets into digestible insights and reports
• Experience analysing operational data, including performance, compliance, or sustainability metrics
• Ability to handle ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider teams
• Experience with ethical or sustainability reporting is a plus
