Data Analyst – Market Data & Analytics
Location: London/Soho one day a week
Employment Type: Contract £425 a day - Outside IR35 - 6 months
Are you ready to take ownership of a fast-evolving data product in a start-up-style environment? We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join an innovative market data initiative, helping shape how real estate data is structured, visualized, and leveraged across the business.
This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools like Azure SQL, Power BI, and the Power Platform, with significant influence over workflows, dashboards, and data strategy.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage the ingestion and transformation of Excel-based datasets via SharePoint and Power BI dataflows.
• Maintain consistency in formatting, templates, and field definitions across multiple data sources.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce manual effort.
• Monitor data quality, handle errors, and develop dashboards to ensure accuracy and governance.
• Build and maintain data transformation logic using Power Query and SQL within a multi-layered architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external data providers to resolve discrepancies and integration challenges.
• Support the creation of actionable Power BI dashboards for business insights, underwriting, and strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong experience with Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and multi-layered architecture.
• Familiarity with real estate data structures, SharePoint, and data warehouse environments.
• GIS experience is a plus, with potential to expand into geospatial analysis.
• A detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for data integrity.
