I'm working with a local authority in the Southeast who are looking for a Data Analyst to play a vital role in their newly formed transformation team.
This is your chance to work in a high impact, high trust environment, helping reshape services across Adult Social Care and Housing through better data, smarter insights and cross functional collaboration.
?? The Role: You'll be a hands-on Data Analyst embedded in a local authority's Transformation Team, working across Adult Social Care and Housing. You'll cleanse and restructure complex datasets, match records across legacy systems, and build clear, actionable reports in Power BI. Backed by a wider team of analysts and project staff, you'll play a key role in driving data-led service reform, helping frontline teams and leadership make smarter, faster decisions.
?Essential (Must have):
• Demonstrable experience in local government or public services
• Strong knowledge of Adult Social care and/ or Housing data systems (e.g. Mosaic, Eclipse, NEC, Jigsaw)
• Expertise in cleansing, validating, matching, analysing and visualising large, complex data sets
• Proficiency with Power BI and SQL
• Experience drawing actionable insights from data to support transformation
• Ability to present complex information clearly to non- technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in analysis and outputs
• Comfortable working across multiple work streams in a fast-moving team
?? Desirables:
• Familiarity with Python, R, or Microsoft Fabric
• Understanding of data governance, GDPR and information security
• Experience with financial data modelling, cost to serve or service bench marking
• Experience coaching or training non- data teams in data use
• Background in wider transformation or change programmes
