Job description:
Lead data analysis and reporting for MOH’s homelessness and prevention programs.
Conduct population-level analyses using the City’s Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS).
Design, build, and maintain dashboards that support program management, oversight, and evaluation.
Enhance analytical tools related to eviction monitoring and prevention.
Develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and written summaries to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Respond to ad-hoc data and information requests from City leadership, media, and partners.
Participate in working groups focused on HMIS data quality, performance monitoring, and related areas.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience in data analysis, research, program evaluation, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience working with large datasets (cleaning, transforming, analyzing, summarizing).
Proficiency in SQL (querying, filtering, joining, summarizing relational database data).
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset, R Shiny, or similar tools.
Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, or Stata (preferred).
Prior Experience with housing or homelessness agency is highly desired.
Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education.
