Data Analyst

Payrate: $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Responsibilities: • Explore, analyze, and dissect large datasets to identify opportunities for improving models and revenue generation. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and interpret data from multiple sources. • Develop Python scripts and tools to automate data workflows and support exploratory analysis. • Build lightweight tools, dashboards, and UIs to make data accessible and actionable for stakeholders. • Evaluate user interaction data and assess its potential impact on business models and outcomes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and usability for business and research needs. • Provide documentation, troubleshooting, and technical support for data pipelines and tools. • Identify, escalate, and document production-impacting issues in data systems and processes. Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python (data analysis, scripting, tool development). • Advanced SQL skills, with experience writing and optimizing complex queries. • Strong data exploration and analysis skills with the ability to derive business insights. • Understanding of how machine learning models work (no need to be an ML expert, but ability to assess how data impacts models). • Knowledge of data engineering concepts (pipelines, transformations, data quality). • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: • Experience building dashboards, UIs, or lightweight tools for data accessibility. • Familiarity with big data platforms and distributed systems. • Exposure to end-to-end data lifecycle management. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.  Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.  Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
