Role description
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon via Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Amazon.
This position will be responsible for:
• Support effective decision making through economic, financial and market analysis of critical issues, including capacity planning, price and cost modeling, and returns on investment.
• Support the capacity forecasting, budgeting and reporting efforts for operating expense, capital and resource allocation.
Design and coordinate the development of systems and tools to keep pace with the group’s growing and rapidly changing businesses.
Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools such as Smartsheet, Amazon Quicksight, and Tableau.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple platforms and data sources.
Apply best practices in data reporting and analysis, including validation, documentation, test design, and QA processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify data sources and automate data collection and reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Job Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build and manage data models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving.
Experience in creating reports using Smartsheet, Microsoft Power BI, and Quicksight
Experience in analyzing and understanding existing data processes to document and optimize the data acquisition and transformation workflow.
Proficiency in creating intuitive, user-friendly dashboard layouts that communicate key metrics and trends to technical and non-technical audiences.
Fluency in standard software including MS Excel. Knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
Successful characteristics for the position are the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment
