Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon. Job Summary This role serves as a strategic partner in driving informed business decisions through comprehensive analysis and planning. The position combines analytical rigor with operational insight to support critical organizational initiatives spanning capacity management, financial modeling, and resource optimization. Working at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology, this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping how the organization plans for growth and allocates resources across rapidly evolving business units. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities β€’ Conduct economic, financial, and market analysis to support strategic decision-making on critical business issues β€’ Develop and maintain price and cost models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities β€’ Calculate and present returns on investment for proposed initiatives and capital projects β€’ Lead capacity forecasting efforts across the organization to ensure optimal resource allocation β€’ Support budgeting processes for operating expenses, capital expenditures, and resource planning β€’ Prepare regular reports and variance analyses to track performance against forecasts and budgets β€’ Design and implement systems and tools that enhance analytical capabilities and reporting efficiency β€’ Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure planning tools evolve with changing business needs Skills β€’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis β€’ Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning abilities β€’ Expertise in building and managing complex financial models β€’ Business forecasting and variance analysis capabilities β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β€’ High attention to detail and accuracy β€’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities β€’ Adaptability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments β€’ SQL knowledge β€’ Operations or capacity planning experience Qualifications β€’ Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field β€’ Graduate degree such as MBA or equivalent β€’ 3-6 years of experience in capacity planning or related analytical roles This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on organizational strategy and growth.
