Primary Skills: SQL (Expert), Excel (Expert), Python (Intermediate), Machine Learning (Intermediate), Tableau (Expert) Contract Type:  W2 Only Duration:  6+ Months with Possible Extension Location: San Jose, CA ( - Hybrid) Pay Range: $45-$50 per hour  on W2 #LP Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Global Risk & Protections team, focusing on applying advanced analytical techniques and data-driven strategies to manage risks across our global commerce platform. This role involves extracting and analyzing vast datasets to develop insights for risk control improvements, designing and implementing risk policy frameworks, and optimizing risk strategies to ensure a safe and reliable marketplace. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish scalable, global risk management policies. Key Responsibilities: • Develop Risk Insights by analyzing data from large incidents to uncover critical insights for improving risk controls. • Design and Implement Risk Policies to effectively manage various risks. • Monitor and Optimize Risk Strategies to identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate for Global Risk Management with cross-functional risk teams. • Build dashboards with Tableau to enable user self-discovery and drive insights. Must-Have Skills: • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with expertise in SQL and Excel. • Experience in building dashboards with Tableau. • Good communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to a broad range of audiences. Industry Experience: • Risk management, eCommerce, banking, or fintech experience is strongly preferred.
