Data Analyst: IV (Remote) Primary Location: Remote V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Analyst: IV (Remote) for our premier client. Education And Experience Β» β€’ Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. β€’ Minimum of 5 years in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role with a focus on enterprise reporting and metrics development. β€’ Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly with clinical, financial, or operational data. β€’ Skilled in working with large, complex datasets within enterprise data environments. β€’ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms such as Azure and Databricks. β€’ Comfortable operating in large enterprise settings, with cross-functional collaboration across business and technical teams. β€’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as AHA and Azure DevOps for managing requirements and development workflows. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Β» β€’ Proficient in DAX for developing calculated columns, measures, and advanced data modeling in Power BI. β€’ Strong grasp of data governance principles and best practices for ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity. β€’ Deep understanding of data visualization techniques, with hands-on experience designing intuitive and impactful dashboards in Power BI. β€’ Skilled in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across diverse data sources. β€’ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Proven ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights that support decision-making and performance improvement. β€’ Effective stakeholder engagement and management, including requirements gathering, feedback facilitation, and solution alignment. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: β€’ Partner with business sponsors to gather, analyze, and document detailed data requirements, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to support reporting needs. β€’ Conduct thorough analysis of legacy reports to identify underlying data sources, business logic, and metric definitions. β€’ Develop and maintain mapping documentation between legacy data structures and new enterprise data warehouse schemas. β€’ Convert legacy report logic into clear specifications aligned with modern data models and Power BI architecture. β€’ Contribute to the definition of data elements and assist in designing semantic layers that enable scalable and consistent reporting. β€’ Collaborate with data engineers and solution architects to ensure data pipelines are optimized for reporting and analytics use cases. β€’ Work in close coordination with Power BI developers to support the accurate and timely delivery of dashboards and visualizations. β€’ Perform data validation and testing to ensure report outputs are accurate, consistent, and meet business expectations. β€’ Identify and investigate data quality issues, partnering with technical teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data reliability.
