Job Description
Role Summary:
Responsible for analyzing and reporting on procurement data to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves collecting, cleansing, interpreting, and presenting data related to procurement activities, supplier performance, savings opportunities, and other key metrics. Underpinning the above activities is a strong discipline and eye for detail around data quality, which includes regular audits, data normalization, and sense checks against known insights.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collect and analyze procurement data: Gather data from various sources, including procurement systems, supplier databases, and Excel files. Clean, validate, and analyze the data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
β’ Owns data quality and fosters data culture: Takes full ownership of ensuring data integrity and upholding trust with our stakeholders.
β’ Develop and maintain procurement reports: Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards that provide key insights into procurement performance, supplier performance, savings opportunities, and other relevant metrics. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
β’ Conduct data-driven analysis: Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to analyze procurement data and identify opportunities for savings opportunities, process improvements, and risk mitigation. Present findings and recommendations to the procurement team and other stakeholders.
β’ Support procurement strategy development: Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and refine procurement strategies based on data-driven insights. Provide input and recommendations on supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
Required Skills:
β’ Proven experience working with big structured and unstructured data and data quality management processes
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling stories
β’ Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics into executive summaries
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Pay range: $60 - $65/hour
