Data Analyst Plano, TX (Hybrid - 3 days a week) 6 month contract to hire (W2 ONLY, NO C-C) Responsibilities Partner with Agile Coaches to understand key performance indicators and build tailored analytics that track Agile adoption and team progress. Create and maintain dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Server to visualize team-level and portfolio-level metrics. Perform data preparation using Power Query and/or Python, working with structured and semi-structured data including JSON files and Jira APIs. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from enterprise systems. Use Excel for ad-hoc analysis, data cleaning, and lightweight automation when needed. Work comfortably with disparate and sometimes incomplete datasets, and create clear outputs with minimal direction. Requirements 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics or business intelligence. Strong skills in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and Power BI Server. Working knowledge of SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy/Matplotlib), and Excel. Experience using Jira as an end-user and understanding of its data structure and reporting capabilities. Enthusiasm for creative problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership. Familiarity with Agile principles, terminology, and ceremonies. Experience using ScriptRunner for Jira or similar scripting tools. Ability to work with JSON files and connect to Jira APIs. Familiarity with Jira Align and its reporting features.
