Role description
Job Title: Data Analyst (Only USC)-(Macros & Advanced formulas)
Pay Rate: $27 to $30/Hr
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Hybrid (Peachtree Corners, GA/Greenville, SC)
Note: The candidate will be expected to occasionally work from the office while on-site. The two office locations will be available for use when working on-site.
Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time
This position is for the Building Automation division.
We are looking for a Digital Content Data Analyst to assist in the data transfers, management, and quality of digital product content and assets. The candidate will facilitate the submission of digital content to several content storage locations and external data consumers. The candidate will work closely with the Product Management and Digital Content groups, leveraging their product knowledge to assist in sorting content, uploading and correcting data, troubleshooting any sync errors and discrepancies, enabling Gen AI-ready assets, testing Gen AI solutions, digital content analysis, and editing.
This position is expected to contribute and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions in a self-managed and target-oriented manner, thus contributing to team results.
Targets are short to medium-term (best to be characterized as milestones), and achievements are monitored.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Mathematics, Marketing, with a heavy focus on data, Data Science, or 3rd year in pursuit of a bachelor's degree.
β’ 2+ years of combined experience in content and metadata management and analysis through Excel, Access, SQL, metadata tagging, and manipulation for quality and troubleshooting purposes, and for seamless integration with AI. Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues.
β’ Extensive experience in Excel, including Macros, proficiency with the use of advanced formulas, and large amounts of data (2000+ rows of data)
β’ Able to replace Excel macros with KNIME for data wrangling
β’ Proficient in project management and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while proactively providing regular status updates
β’ Understanding of search engine optimization for content and webpage, strong understanding of the workings of content/metadata attribution online
β’ Excellent PowerPoint creation skills for creating reports and presentations to upper management
β’ Working knowledge or familiarity with Tableau, Jira, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, and SAP
β’ Beginner or higher level with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, website, or visual design
β’ Experience with technical documentation, charts/graphs, and process mapping
β’ Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills; experience communicating the results of analysis clearly in writing and verbally
β’ Deep understanding of content, messaging, value proposition production, and development.
β’ Gathers, prepares, ensures accuracy, and uploads/updates content and metadata to internal systems. The assets are specific to attributed product data such as specification sheets, technical data, images, descriptions, and collateral.
β’ Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems
β’ Develop/update processes to regularly maintain databases and conduct regular checks to ensure data integrity
β’ Create queries that allow data to be extracted and streamline the data retrieval process
β’ Project management experience: delivery of project objectives on time and within budget, with appropriate resource planning and risk management
β’ Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
β’ Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
β’ Travel needed: 0-10%
Preferred Skills:
β’ Knowledge of electrical residential, industrial products, and markets
β’ Understands the demands of the channel in a B2B digital environment
β’ Knowledge of product lifecycle management
