Role description
• Use SQL and Databricks for data extraction, transformation, and analysis within the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract and transform data using Delta Lake and Databricks features
• Import and ingest data into the Databricks Lakehouse
• Perform ad-hoc and exploratory analysis using Databricks SQL and SQL Editor
• Build dashboards in Databricks SQL; uses Tableau for visualization when needed
• Manages data objects, tables, and views within the Databricks environment
• Participate in agile ceremonies like standups or refinements and collaborate with others on design, estimation and prioritization of user stories.
• Complete testing of data products in different environments as required.
• Work with business users, technical product managers or product owners, if required, to clarify business requirements.
• Complete any documentation required like the design of data products, process flows, testing or business requirements.
