Kforce's client in Aurora, NJ is seeking a strategic, data-driven professional to join their team as a Senior Data Analyst. This role is fully remote, and candidates can sit anywhere nationwide, although MST or PST time zones are preferred. Summary: This role is responsible for gathering, preparing, and analyzing data to support informed decision-making across business and clinical functions. The ideal candidate will bring advanced analytical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Identify and evaluate emerging trends in health insurance and healthcare
β’ Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while promoting continuous learning and adaptability
β’ Manage and execute complex projects aligned with business priorities and compliance standards
β’ Interpret complex data analyses and deliver insights through reports and presentations
β’ Develop and implement advanced statistical models to support strategic decisions
β’ Apply innovative analytics to define, validate, and analyze complex metrics and algorithms
β’ Prepare high-quality datasets by integrating, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources
β’ Collect and update data systematically using tools, documentation, and user training
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, develop analysis plans, and evaluate outcomes
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
β’ Minimum of 5 years of related experience
β’ Specific Systems Knowledge Required: SQL, Python, Power BI
β’ Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and project leadership
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Certification in one of the following preferred: Oracle Business intelligence (OBI), EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
β’ Health insurance industry experience is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
