Role description
Our Client, a multinational mass media and entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Revenue Data Analyst! β€’ β€’ β€’ This is a hybrid one year contract position that takes place in Orlando, FL β€’ β€’ β€’ What You Will Be Doing β€’ Serve as the primary owner and steward of the Revenue team’s development SQL database, ensuring logical data organization, high data integrity, and ongoing optimization through the removal of deprecated tables and views. β€’ Execute daily audits of core revenue KPIs to validate that stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and data extracts are functioning accurately and reliably. β€’ Design and maintain proactive alerting and notification systems to quickly surface data failures or anomalies to leadership and key stakeholders. β€’ Support Business Operations and Revenue analysts with ad hoc data pulls, analysis, and visualization to enable timely decision-making. β€’ Develop, enhance, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions in response to formal Sales team requests, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data governance standards. β€’ Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Revenue team technology requests, including ticket intake, prioritization, requirements documentation, UAT coordination, deployment, and post-launch validation. β€’ Partner closely with engineering and technology teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and provide ongoing insight throughout development cycles. β€’ Track project timelines and dependencies, providing regular, transparent updates to leadership on progress, risks, and delivery expectations. β€’ Ensure deployed solutions are production-ready, accurately reflect business logic, and are fully integrated into daily operational workflows. Required Skills & Experience β€’ 3–4 years of experience in data analytics, database management, and project delivery within a cross-functional or agile environment. β€’ Demonstrated experience owning database or data warehouse initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented, proactive mindset. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and translate technical concepts into actionable business insights. β€’ Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce reporting and dashboard development.
