Role description
London or Manchester (Hybrid working model, 8 days a month office based)
Competitive Salary plus performance related bonus
DCC is at a pivotal point in its evolution. As our initial licence approaches its expiry in September 2025, Ofgem has indicated an extension of 12–36 months to review the DCC’s design and objectives, run a procurement process for a Successor Licensee, and facilitate a potential transition away from current shareholder Capita.
To support this next chapter, the People Team is seeking a Data Analyst on a fixed-term basis. This is a new role that will play a vital part in supporting the People Team’s data needs—especially in relation to licence renewal and organisational planning
What will you be doing?
Data Analytics
• Monitor and maintain accurate headcount data via Workday
• Improve the quality and integrity of HR data through updates and validation
• Generate and interpret reports from Workday to support business objectives
• Provide insightful analysis of HR metrics to inform strategic HR decisions
• Support talent and performance cycles with data-driven insights
Licence Renewal & Support
• Provide accurate, timely data to support Ofgem licence renewal processes
• Respond to ad hoc data requests across the People Team
• Support general administrative tasks to ensure seamless team operations
Reward Reporting & Administration
• Contribute to key reporting cycles, including gender pay gap and payroll reporting
• Support the salary review process, including data analysis and payroll collaboration
• Analyse salary and bonus trends and manage process-critical data
What are we looking for?
• 2+ years’ experience in fast-paced, data-driven environments with reporting/change control duties
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Clear, concise communication skills—especially for non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, and Power BI
• Self-starter with strong initiative, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Workday is an advantage, but not essential
