Data Analyst - Sc cleared | £80 - £83 We're working with a leading specialist in defense and high-security technical consultancy on this exciting opportunity. This is a chance for a high-level expert to take the reigns of complex datasets within a mission-critical environment, utilizing SQL and advanced visualization tools to drive MoD strategy. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between technical data engineering and executive decision-making. You'll be joining a team where data isn't just a byproduct—it's the primary asset used to safeguard national infrastructure and optimize complex logistics. The Role • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of advanced analytics and automated insight solutions across multiple high-priority workstreams. • Architect and optimize complex dashboarding and reporting workflows using SQL and enterprise-grade visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. • Define and execute best-practice data governance, ensuring all technical initiatives meet rigorous SC-level security and compliance standards. • Collaborate directly with Data Architects and Business Leaders to shape the future of enterprise data strategy and hybrid cloud environments. • Mentor junior analysts and lead multidisciplinary work packages within an Agile/DevOps framework to enhance team output and technical capability. What You'll Need • Active SC Clearance (Security Cleared) is essential for this role given the sensitive nature of the projects. • Significant experience working within the Ministry of Defence (MoD) or similar large-scale public sector security environments. • Mastery of SQL and deep experience with Data Warehousing tools and techniques for managing large, complex datasets. • Proven expertise in Data Modelling, Data Validation, and QA processes to ensure "single version of truth" reporting. • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business logic for non-technical senior stakeholders.
