About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) – Data Warehouse team. This hybrid role requires strong SQL expertise, data warehousing experience, and healthcare insurance domain knowledge. Candidates must be commutable to Center City Philadelphia and open to full-time conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and document business and functional requirements for data warehouse and ETL development
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents
• Write advanced SQL queries involving complex joins across multiple tables for data profiling and validation
• Collaborate with data modelers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
• Participate in testing, production readiness, and post-deployment validation, including occasional off-hours or weekend support
• Analyze and profile data to ensure quality and integrity during ETL processes
Required Skills & Experience:
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience as a BSA/Data Analyst
• Expertise in SQL – must be able to write complex queries across multiple tables
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data pipelines
• Solid experience in data profiling, mapping, and documentation
• Ability to write clear and concise business and functional requirements
• Healthcare insurance industry experience is required
• Excellent communication, writing, and listening skills
