Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst - Sales Process & Systems to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri
Sales Process and Systems organization. This role focuses on analyzing, validating, and translating Salesforce (SFDC) and commercial data into clear, actionable insights that support sales execution, system effectiveness, and business performance.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with Salesforce reporting expertise, business intelligence experience, and a creative problem-solving mindset. You will partner closely with system, program, and business teams to ensure data is reliable, meaningful, and understood within the broader sales and customer context.
Duties:
• Analyze Salesforce (SFDC) and related commercial data to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and BI outputs aligned to defined KPIs
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency
• Identify and resolve data quality issues
• Perform first-pass root-cause analysis across logic, filters, joins, mappings, and data flows to isolate issues and route them to the appropriate system or platform owner
• Document clear, outcome-focused problem statements and acceptance criteria for fixes, defining what should be true, where it should be reflected, and by when
• Interpret trends and patterns across systems to provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Translate complex data into clear narratives and visuals tailored to business and leadership audiences
• Propose alternative analytical approaches when standard reporting does not fully address business needs
• Apply AI literacy to assess and leverage AI-enabled analytics capabilities where appropriate
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales Process and Systems, Analytics, IT, and Sales stakeholders
Desired Skills/Experience:
• Experience with Salesforce (SFDC), including strong expertise in reporting and dashboards
• Solid data analysis and business intelligence experience
• High attention to data quality and validation, including upstream data dependencies
• AI literacy, with an understanding of current and emerging analytics capabilities
• Ability to connect data insights to broader business processes and outcomes
• Creative, analytical problem-solver who can propose multiple data-driven solutions
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional environments
