Role description
Seeking a Data Analyst to support Supply Planning and Sourcing teams during a period of continued growth and operational complexity. This individual contributor role will focus on analyzing customer and operational data to deliver actionable insights that inform supply chain decisions across product and planning teams. This role is well-suited for a hands-on analyst who enjoys working with large datasets, solving non-standard business problems, and translating data into clear insights for cross-functional stakeholders. Location: Remote Duration: 2 Months w/ possible extensions. 20 hours a week. Compensation: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr Responsibilities β€’ Research, analyze, and model customer and operational data to support supply planning decisions β€’ Analyze and mine multiple data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain β€’ Perform quantitative analysis on ambiguous or non-standard business problems and deliver actionable insights β€’ Build and maintain analytical frameworks that support supply planning and sourcing processes β€’ Develop reporting and dashboards that enable visibility into KPIs and performance metrics β€’ Use SQL to query and extract large datasets and support complex analytical needs β€’ Partner with supply planning leadership to help set analytics priorities β€’ Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and audience-appropriate manner β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product management, order management, and data teams β€’ Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business initiatives Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required β€’ 1–3 years of experience in analytics, statistics, or data analysis β€’ Experience querying large datasets and working with relational databases β€’ Proficiency with SQL and common analytics or reporting tools (e.g., MS tools, Tableau, Sigma, OMS, or similar) β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources into clear recommendations β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences β€’ Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications β€’ Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field β€’ Experience in retail, order management, supply chain, or operations analytics β€’ Experience building statistical or analytical models to support strategic initiatives β€’ Familiarity with omni-channel or digital commerce environments About Hansell Tierney Hansell Tierney is one of the premier staffing and recruiting companies in the Pacific Northwest.
