Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce & Location Strategy Data Analytics Specialist to lead the development of a sophisticated decision support model that informs and optimises our global workforce and location strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modelling, and business intelligence, coupled with a deep understanding of HR and workforce metrics. You will work closely with senior leadership to transform complex data into insightful, actionable recommendations that shape our location consolidation, workforce sizing, and operational efficiency strategies. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and deploy decision support models utilising BI tools, Excel, Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies. β€’ Aggregate, clean, and analyze diverse data sources, including HR data (recruitment, attrition, performance, demographics), operational metrics, and historical trends. β€’ Identify critical variables and scenarios influencing location decisions, such as headcount distributions, role performance, age profiles, and productivity metrics. β€’ Construct data-driven frameworks to evaluate various location options, consolidations, and workforce strategies. β€’ Provide objective, evidence-based insights to support senior leadership discussions, minimizing subjective biases. β€’ Document variables, assumptions, and scenarios to ensure transparency and reproducibility of models. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and relevance. β€’ Stay informed on the latest best practices in data analytics, HR metrics, and location strategy. β€’ Develop compelling visualisations and reports tailored for executive decision-makers, demonstrating the value of insights derived from analytics. Qualifications & Skills: β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, HR Analytics, or a related field. β€’ Proven experience in developing decision support models, predictive analytics, or similar frameworks. β€’ Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools/languages, including Excel, Python, SQL, and BI platforms such as Power BI. β€’ Demonstrated ability to work with complex, often intangible HR and operational data sets. β€’ Experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or location strategy is highly desirable. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear insights. β€’ Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership and explaining complex findings simply. β€’ Ability to manage multiple scenarios, document assumptions, and ensure transparency in models.
