Role description
Technical DevOps Engineer with experience across on-prem and cloud-based projects. You will work on development tooling, CI/CD, artifact management, and cloud migrations in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Propose and implement systems and infrastructure enhancements.
β’ Improve security posture of development tools and supporting infrastructure.
β’ Monitor usage and performance, troubleshoot server, software, and infrastructure issues.
β’ Analyze complexity and feasibility of new or changed requirements.
β’ Define platform sizing and manage infrastructure control components.
β’ Plan, implement, configure, test, and roll out hardware, software, network, and control systems.
β’ Analyze outages and defects, and implement remediation measures.
β’ Install, maintain, and administer CI/CD tools and underlying infrastructure.
β’ Collaborate with teams to design, scale, and secure systems across on-prem and Azure cloud environments.
β’ Support cloud-native infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
Skills & Experience:
β’ Strong experience with RedHat Linux, Solaris, and Scripting (Bash/Python, Unix shell, PowerShell).
β’ Administration and installation experience with GitLab, Nexus Repository Manager, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD tools.
β’ Infrastructure management experience in cloud and on-prem environments.
β’ Hands-on experience with build automation tools like Maven and Gradle.
β’ Deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery concepts.
β’ Knowledge of networking, storage, and infrastructure security principles.
β’ Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates is a plus.
β’ Experience with Azure services (Container Registry, Monitor, diagnostics).
