Role description
Data Analyst Rate: up to £325/day Outside IR35 Contract Length: 6 Months + Ext Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite in Central London Working Hours: 37.5 An established organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to join a growing data function supporting the delivery of insight-led decision making across the business. This is a hands-on contract role suited to a technically strong analyst who is comfortable working with modern analytics tooling clean data models plus stakeholder-facing outputs. The Data Analyst will work closely with technical plus non-technical teams to transform raw data into trusted insight leveraging contemporary analytics platforms plus best-practice approaches to data modelling visualisation reporting. Responsibilities for the Data Analyst: • Analyse model interpret complex datasets to deliver clear actionable insights that support business decision-making • Build maintain scalable reporting analytics solutions using modern BI analytics tools • Work with structured semi-structured data sources ensuring data quality consistency reliability • Develop reusable datasets semantic models to support self-service analytics • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements translate them into effective analytical outputs • Support ongoing improvement of analytics processes tooling data governance standards • Contribute to adoption of modern analytics practices including automation version-controlled workflows Essential Skills for the Data Analyst: • Strong experience in data analysis using SQL with ability to write performant well-structured queries • Experience building dashboards reports using modern BI tools (Power BI Tableau Looker or similar) • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts including star schemas analytical datasets • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms modern data stacks • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Desirable Skills for the Data Analyst: • Experience using Python for data analysis transformation automation • Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure AWS GCP • Familiarity with modern analytics engineering tools (dbt or similar) • Experience working in Agile delivery environments • Understanding of data governance data quality frameworks metric standardisation If you are a Data Analyst with strong technical capability plus experience working with modern analytics technologies who is looking for a flexible Outside IR35 contract with a hybrid working arrangement please apply in the immediate instance.
