Data Analyst / REMOTE or Charlotte NC / Contract / OUR DIRECT CLIENT About our Customer & Role: Our direct customer, a global Fortune 500 company & a leader in the Food Services industry is looking for a “Data Analyst”, who will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support ERP and VMS data, while also bridging business and functional requirements. KEY SKILLS: • Experience working with large sets of data. • Strong SQL Skills • Snowflake experience, a big Plus Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Business Analyst role, ideally within software development, ERP implementation, or digital product environments. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools such as Miro and Azure DevOps is a plus. • Experience working on Agile projects or within Agile teams (Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality data outcomes. • Analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving using data. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and deliverables under tight deadlines. • Skilled at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving alignment on data-driven solutions. • Willingness to travel occasionally (<5%) to support project initiatives and collaborate with sector teams • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field preferred. Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from ERP systems to support business decision-making and process optimization. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights. • Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and developers to define and refine data-driven features, ensuring alignment with business and functional objectives. • Develop a deep understanding of business domains and system functionalities to facilitate data-driven decisions and process improvements. • Break down complex business and functional requirements into detailed data models, user stories, and tasks ready for development. • Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and process gaps using data analysis, and propose solutions to optimize system performance. • Translate business and functional needs into clear, testable data requirements and acceptance criteria. • Ensure delivered solutions meet data quality standards and support strategic transformation goals. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. • Track progress of data-related deliverables, ensuring milestones are met and quality standards are maintained. • Manage post-implementation feedback, supporting enhancements and system optimization based on user input and data analysis. • Develop and execute data validation and testing scripts; collaborate with QA and other analysts to support end-to-end testing. • Evaluate system outputs to verify they meet defined data requirements and quality standards. • Provide support for ERP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues via a ticketing system. • Support the adoption and optimization of new and existing transaction types, promoting best practices in data management and system usage. • Administer configuration changes and enhancements to ERP systems to support integrations and data accuracy. • Coordinate with IT and third-party providers for technical changes, testing, and certification processes, focusing on data integrity.
