Data Quality & Asset Specialist: On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Data Quality & Asset Specialist for a permanent role. This position is a remote position based in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Data Quality & Asset Specialist - Job Description: Red Hat is seeking a Data Quality & Asset Specialist to manage the integrity and reporting of our physical and logical infrastructure data within the Global Data Center footprint. This role focuses on ensuring data center asset records are accurate, audited, and aligned with our Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) standards, providing strategic visibility essential for managing risk and planning future capacity. Data Quality & Asset Specialist - Responsibilities:
Monitor and validate Critical Data Elements (CDEs) such as rack utilization and power capacity.
Develop and manage regular βState of the Unionβ reports using Tableau and Google Sheets.
Identify and resolve undocumented hardware or orphaned records within the tracking system.
Enforce naming conventions and data entry standards across global sites.
Develop KPIs and dashboards to reflect inventory data health and accuracy.
Support the ILM Program Manager in implementing data standards.
Provide data on available rack space, power, and cooling for future planning.
Act as a liaison between DC technicians and ILM compliance requirements.
Identify aging assets to mitigate hardware-failure risks.
Conduct investigations into "data drift" and collaborate on refining manual entry processes.
Data Quality & Asset Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
Deep understanding of industry-standard frameworks for Data Quality and Lifecycle Management.
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas and pivot tables.
Proven ability to build and maintain complex data visualizations in Tableau.
High attention to detail and tolerance for repetitive tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative problem-solving.
Data Quality & Asset Specialist β Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with data center operations.
Familiarity with Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) standards.
Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management.
Experience with data governance frameworks.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
