Data Analyst - Power BI - DAX - SQL
Location: New Orleans
Contract: 6 months
Rate: $50 - $65 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
• Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to enhance Power BI reports and analytical capabilities.
• Assist in data modeling and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide training to team members on data visualization tools and techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI and DAX.
• Familiarity with Python for data analysis is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
