Role Overview
This is a highly specialized role focused on analyzing C#/.NET and Oracle PL/SQL source code to generate accurate and comprehensive data lineage documentation.
The position emphasizes reverse engineering, data flow analysis, and technical documentation, rather than software development.
The successful candidate will collaborate with application teams, DBAs, and data governance specialists, and contribute to Collibra lineage registration.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse C#/.NET source code to identify SQL interactions and data flows
Review Oracle PL/SQL procedures, triggers, and ETL logic
Produce structured data lineage documentation
Register lineage in Collibra with metadata teams
Validate lineage completeness with application owners and DBAs
Maintain version-controlled repositories of lineage artifacts
Provide technical interpretation of complex code logic

Essential Requirements
Deep understanding of C#/.NET application architecture
Strong Oracle PL/SQL expertise, including performance tuning
Experience interpreting source code within enterprise systems
Strong analytical and technical documentation skills
Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical/non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Skills
Knowledge of data lineage and metadata management

Understanding of data governance regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS239)
Experience working with global, multi-time-zone teams
Location: London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM -- 5:00 PM
Work Style: Hybrid (3 days on-site at client location and 2 days remote work)
Employment Type: 1 year Fixed-term contract (with potential for permanent
conversion)
