• • • Local Candidates Only Role: Data Analytics & Data Scientist Location: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 (100% On-site) || • • • Local Candidates Only Duration: 6 months+ (Contract) Skills: Digital : Data Science Experience Required: 10 & Above Pay: $50-54/Hr. max. Primary Responsibilities – Data Science & Analytics • Lead exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and underlying drivers in large, complex datasets • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to diagnose business, operational, and performance issues using data-driven methods • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models including classification, regression, clustering, and time-series forecasting • Build predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions to support customer decision-making and operational optimization • Apply statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis to explain outcomes and validate assumptions • Conduct feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance tuning to ensure robust and interpretable models • Design and analyze experiments and A/B tests to measure impact and inform recommendations Secondary Responsibilities – Palantir Foundry & AIP Enablement • Use Palantir Foundry to integrate, curate, and model structured and unstructured enterprise data • Operationalize data science and ML solutions using Foundry pipelines, ontology, and applications • Leverage Palantir AIP to support AI-enabled use cases such as decision support tools, copilots, or LLM-assisted workflows • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns where applicable to ground AI outputs in enterprise data • Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to deploy solutions with appropriate governance, security, and compliance controls • Perform RCA on data quality issues, model behavior, and workflow outcomes within the Foundry/AIP ecosystem • Support customer adoption by explaining analytical logic, assumptions, and limitations in clear business terms Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Applied Machine Learning • Strong hands-on experience in exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and root cause analysis • Proficiency in Python and SQL • Experience with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and experimental design • Experience working with large-scale, enterprise-grade datasets • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry; exposure to Palantir AIP is strongly preferred • Experience working in customer-facing, consulting, or stakeholder-heavy environments • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly • • • Local Candidates Only
