Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer Position Type: Contract Location: New York, NY (Onsite from Day 1, Hybrid Model – 3 Days Onsite) Job Description: We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Data Analytics Engineer to join our team supporting Morgan Stanley. This hybrid role blends the technical depth of data engineering with the strategic insight of business analytics responsible for understanding the business functions & developing scalable data solutions, analytics and delivering actionable insights to business. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key metrics, KPIs, and data requirements. Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting. Translate complex datasets into clear, business-oriented insights and recommendations. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across platforms. Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities. Partner with data scientists, product managers, and business teams to support strategic initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics roles. Strong proficiency in SQL & Analytics tools. Proven experience in financial services and wealth management domains, with expertise in stock plans, financial data, Crypto and related business processes. Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake. Solid understanding of data modeling, architecture, and governance principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with Analytics tools such as Dataiku etc. Prior experience working with Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management team
