ABF Business Technology Services is looking for a talented Data & Analytics Lead to join our growing Strategic Planning & Operational Excellence function. In this role, you will work across the full data lifecycle, from gathering requirements and ETL processes to reporting and visualisation - delivering insights that help the business make smarter, faster decisions. You’ll also play a key part in evolving our analytics capabilities with agentic AI and automation. What you'll be doing : Lead the end-to-end data and analytics lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data architecture to ETL, modelling, and visualisation. Collect, analyse, and transform large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively. Drive data quality, integrity, and governance across BTS. Enable BTS with data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, act proactively before issues arise, eliminate root causes, and demonstrate measurable improvements delivered. Design and deliver data solutions across complex legacy environments, challenging stakeholder requests and recommending fit-for-purpose approaches aligned to business needs. Enable data-driven decision-making to support operational excellence initiatives. Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to identify use cases and data improvement opportunities.Explore and implement agentic AI and automation to enhance analytics capabilities for future-state models. What you'll bring : Strong experience in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft data tools (e.g. Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric). Proven experience in ETL, data modelling, and data visualisation. Solid understanding of data strategy, governance, and data quality principles. Proficiency in data language tools such as DAX, Python, Hadoop and R for data manipulation and analysis Experience of evolving technologies i.e. Big Data, Real Time Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Bots Experience with machine learning and emerging AI/automation technologies is highly desirable. Exceptional stakeholder management and business communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions. Strong understanding of business operations, with the ability to align data analysis and insights to strategic and operational business goals. Problem-solving skills and strategic mindset. Experience in solution design and managing complex legacy estates.Knowledge of ServiceNow as an analytics platform is a plus. Location Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park.
