Data Analytics PM / BA Location: New York, NY (in-office at least three days per week) What is the position? We are seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to support two fast-moving teams within Data Analytics function:  Advanced Data Analytics - a team delivering data science, machine learning, and AI-powered tools to business lines and corporate functions  Enterprise Data Platform — the firms enterprise data foundation, providing governed, authoritative data across the firm to support analytics, reporting, CRM, BI, and AI. The primary focus of this role is ADA. The right candidate is a sharp, curious BA who can hold their own with both data scientists and front-office investment professionals — translating between those worlds with credibility on both sides. The enterprise data platform assignment extends that same business-facing BA skill set into data demand management and intake. This is not a passive documentation role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of outcomes, arrives at problems with analysis and options already in hand, and thrives in fast-moving, iterative environments. Required Qualifications  5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex, cross-functional initiatives in financial services  Front-office experience in investment banking, capital markets, private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds — candidates should be able to engage credibly with MA Advisory, capital markets, and shareholder advisory stakeholders from day one  Experience supporting the delivery of AI, ML, or data science products — comfortable participating in technical conversations at a conceptual level without being a practitioner  Demonstrated excellence in requirements elicitation, including with stakeholders who struggle to articulate their own needs  Able to evaluate product UX and give substantive, actionable feedback on usability  Genuine familiarity with generative AI tools and a track record of applying or exploring them whether in professional or personal contexts  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt register for data scientists, engineers, front-office bankers, and senior executives  Proactive, solution-oriented, and accountable — you surface problems with analysis and options attached, own outcomes rather than activities, and operate independently with minimal direction in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Preferred / Additional Qualifications  Experience supporting enterprise data programs — data platforms, lakehouses, BI modernization, or data governance  Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms  Experience with BI or data visualization tooling (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)  Proficiency analyzing data with SQL or Python
