Job Title: Data Science Intern – AI & LLM Location: [Onsite - San Antonio, Texas] About the Role: We are seeking a passionate Data Science Intern to join our AI/ML team. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Data Annotation. You will contribute to developing and refining AI-driven solutions while working closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Support in building, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs and AI models for real-world applications. β€’ Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and annotation to ensure high-quality training datasets. β€’ Assist in designing and conducting experiments to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. β€’ Collaborate with the team to analyze model outputs and provide insights for continuous improvement. β€’ Develop documentation, reports, and dashboards to track AI/ML project progress. β€’ Explore state-of-the-art AI/LLM research and suggest novel ideas to apply in projects. Qualifications & Skills: β€’ Understanding of LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Falcon, Claude, etc.) and their applications. β€’ Familiarity with data annotation techniques (text, image, or multimodal). β€’ Knowledge of NLP concepts such as tokenization, embeddings, sentiment analysis, and prompt engineering. β€’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
