Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
β’ API Integration with AWS services for tools such as Asana, ELM, and Sphera to enable seamless data transfer and communication.
β’ Design, configure, and implement robust API architectures to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
β’ Design, configure, and implement data lake formation strategies leveraging AWS services.
β’ Develop processes to ingest and move existing data sources (such as SIPP, Excel, etc.) into a single database (e.g., Redshift).
β’ Create sustainable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs to manage different data sources and changes to data.
β’ Automate AWS Glue jobs to trigger when new files are added to S3 or when new data is ingested via APIs into the data lake.
β’ Connect Quicksight dashboards to the new data lake/database, replacing existing data sources.
β’ Optimize existing dashboards for performance and usability.
β’ Explore methods for implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) that are based on permission teams/AWS IAM roles to address current SSO issues.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
β’ 5+ yearsβ experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role.
β’ Expertise in integrating APIs with AWS services.
β’ Strong understanding of data lake architectures and experience with AWS data services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, S3).
β’ Proficiency in Extract, and transform load (ETL) tools and processes.
β’ Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Quicksight.
β’ Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and AWS IAM roles.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
β’ AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
