Data Architect

Job Title: Data Architect – Data Platform & AI/ML Architecture Location: Richardson, TX 75082 Must work onsite Mon - Tues -Wed at the Richardson office. 12 months hybrid contract We are searching for a seasoned Data Architect to guide the strategic design, implementation, and enhancement of our enterprise data platform. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building scalable data solutions, supports advanced AI/ML workflows, and thrives on driving innovation within cloud-native systems. The right candidate brings proven leadership in data engineering, cloud architecture, and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields. 12+ years’ experience in data engineering, including at least 1 year in leadership capacity. Advanced proficiency in Python or similar programming languages. Extensive experience with databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Vector DB, and SQL Server. Expertise in data processing tools like Snaplogic, DBT, Spark, and Apache Airflow. Comprehensive understanding of cloud services on platforms like AWS or Azure. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and algorithms. Strong background in data modeling, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and API development. Experience implementing data governance and quality management strategies. Excellent communication skills for bridging technical and business teams. Knowledge of BI platforms and data visualization tools. Preferred Skills Experience in asset management or financial services. Background with enterprise-level data platforms and AI/ML integration. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial data environments.
