Data Architect/Principal Data Engineer III (Onsite) Primary Location: Cincinnati, Ohio V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Architect/Principal Data Engineer III for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio. Education And Experience » • Technical Degree or related work experience. • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements. • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques. • Knowledge of programming languages (C, PHP, etc.). • Expertise database technologies (SQL, Oracle, etc.). Must Have Knowledge, Skills and Abilities » • Databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2, Etc.). • DBT. • Elevate. • ETL (DataStage). • Snowflake. • SQL. Nice To Have • Financial Services/Banking. • Job Monitoring (SiteScope, Dynatrace, Etc.). • Kafka. • Scripting (Python, SAS). What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: • Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data. • Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality. • Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams. • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming. • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations. • Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features. • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions. • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems. • Educate staff members through training and individual support. • Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
