Key Responsibilities:
Architect and design data-driven solutions for large-scale applications within the Wealth Management and Billing ecosystem.
Lead the development of robust data pipelines using technologies such as AWS Glue, Athena, and Snowflake.
Apply caching strategies and data modeling best practices to optimize system performance and throughput.
Translate complex business requirements into effective, scalable enterprise data architectures.
Ensure all solutions align with non-functional requirements (NFRs) including scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to design databases, select technologies, and define integration patterns.
Evaluate new tools and frameworks, perform technical feasibility studies, and provide strategic architectural guidance.
Document architectural decisions, data flows, and infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Strong expertise in AWS data services (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.).
Proven experience with Snowflake and building high-performance, cloud-native data warehouses.
Solid understanding of caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) to optimize latency and throughput.
Experience designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Billing domain is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of architectural patterns, non-functional requirements, and trade-offs in designing distributed data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
Architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
