About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data solutions. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and enterprise data platforms, with proven hands-on expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) data solutions.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and technical excellence to shape data strategies that drive innovation, scalability, and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data architecture across multiple platforms (cloud and on-premise).
Define and implement data strategies, standards, and best practices for data modeling, integration, quality, and security.
Architect data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes to support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and real-time decisioning.
Partner with AI/ML teams to ensure data availability, quality, and scalability for model training and deployment.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to align data solutions with business objectives.
Drive the adoption of cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for storage, processing, and analytics.
Implement robust metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data governance frameworks.
Evaluate and recommend emerging data & AI technologies to future-proof the data ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and enterprise data platforms.
Proven experience in AI/ML data solutions, including data preparation for model training, feature engineering, and MLOps integration.
Strong expertise in:
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Data technologies: SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop ecosystem
ETL/ELT tools: Informatica, Talend, dbt, or equivalent
Modeling: Dimensional, relational, NoSQL schema design
Hands-on experience with data lakehouse architectures and real-time streaming pipelines.
Strong knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Excellent understanding of AI/ML workflows, MLOps practices, and integration of data into AI systems.
Strong communication skills to engage executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with knowledge graphs, vector databases, and GenAI data architecture.
Background in data product thinking and self-service analytics platforms.
Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI/ML specializations.
