We are seeking a Senior Data Architect / Technical Business Analyst to lead the design, integration, and optimization of Hyattβs loyalty data ecosystem. This role combines business analysis and data architecture expertise to translate loyalty program needs into scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Partner with business units (marketing, CRM, product, IT) to gather and document requirements for loyalty data and system enhancements.
β’ Merge and integrate datasets (loyalty, guest, stay, reservation) to deliver actionable insights.
β’ Design, model, and optimize end-to-end data architectures in Snowflake and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
β’ Define and oversee data flows and integrations across loyalty systems, CRM, POS, mobile, and enterprise data platforms.
β’ Support stakeholder alignment by leading workshops, presenting solutions, and documenting system/process flows.
β’ Collaborate with engineers to build scalable pipelines using SQL, Kafka, Airbyte, and related tools.
Qualifications
β’ 6+ years in business analysis and data architecture roles.
β’ Strong SQL and data modeling skills; hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure).
β’ Familiarity with event-based pipelines and data orchestration tools (Kafka, Airbyte, dbt, Airflow, etc.).
β’ Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to bridge business and technical needs.
β’ Loyalty systems experience preferred (not required).
Preferred
β’ Experience in hospitality, travel, or customer-centric industries.
β’ Knowledge of CDPs, real-time personalization, or identity resolution.
β’ Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
